Yes, you are reading that number correctly! Thanks to all of you, we have received four thousand, five hundred and twenty-nine chemo caps! WOW!
We are so thankful to have the customers that we do. Back in May, when we sent out a call for 1,000 caps, we were hoping to receive at least that many, and maybe a few more. But thanks to you, our cap drive has far exceeded our expectations.
If there was a winner to be chosen for total number of donated caps, it would have to be the mother and daughter team from Maryland, who sent in a whopping amount – over 260 caps!
We especially want to thank those of you who donated a cap in honor of a loved one. Our thoughts are with you.
And a final thank you to those who included nice letters and cards. These will be forwarded along with the caps, so that the recipients can see how much this project meant to all of you.
