Teva Durham, creator of Loop-d-Loop, started her own line of yarns and patterns in 2000 after contributing to knitting magazines and pattern collections for years. Her style is contemporary, edgy and urban, yet designs are quick and enjoyable to knit.

Taught to knit at a young age by her grandmother, Teva’s creative interest and passion for knitting was rekindled in the mid-80’s while in London as a student.

With a background in textiles and patternmaking, Teva landed a job as a reporter in the garment industry covering runway shows. It was here she discovered her talent for forecasting and describing upcoming trends. This became her specialty and landed her a dream job at Vogue Knitting as an editor. While writing and designing full time, soon the design side was winning out. Today, Teva is collaborating with Tahki. Stacy Charles, Inc., to bring her unique style to the forefront of the hand-knitting industry.
